• No CamelCase (CamelCase has no significance for Mediawiki, as it does for other wiki engines)
• Real time tracking (ok)
• RealTimeTracking (not ok)
• No unnecessary abbreviation
• Free food for example (ok)
• Free food e.g. (not ok)
• Free food and water (ok)
• Free food & water (& not ok, unless needed as an alias in a side menu to conserve space, or as part of a formal name.)
• Punctuation:
• Limit punctuation to: spaces, underscores, hyphens, parentheses, and colons (for cases where you have a repeating topic)
• Special characters such as the slash (/), plus sign (+), braces ({ }) and square brackets ([ ]) are avoided; the ampersand (&) is replaced by and, unless it is part of a formal name.[1]

Using categories

• Place categories under the last page topic, preferably == See also ==

Steps to integrate a map page

1. Insert a navigation template at the page bottom: MapTOC
2. Add categories to the page bottom: , and location, e.g. , and storm, e.g.
3. Add the new map page link to the Maps TOC page at Maps Contents Page
4. Update MapTOC, see Template:MapTOC

Housekeeping

• Spam Patrol needs to be done at least once per day and more often if posting is heavy. Scan Recent changes from the Last Spam Patrol update and then update Spam Patrol#Last Spam Patrol. If needed, a domain name can be blocked with the local SpamBlacklist. --John 17:28, 6 September 2008 (CDT)
• Team members should login before posting. This procedure helps with the Spam Patrol scan of Recent changes.
