From http://geology.com/county-map/texas.shtml Texas coastal counties are Orange, Jefferson, Chambers, Galveston, Harris, Brazoria, Matagorda, Jackson, Calhoun, Victoria, Refugio, Aransas, San Patricio, Nueces, Kleberg, Kenedy, Willacy, and Cameron. Other counties that have had direct hurricane damage in the past are Jasper, Newton, Hardin, Liberty, Fort Bend, Wharton, Goliad, Bee, and Hidalgo.
